DESIGN
 

Below are examples of design services offered by AEG

 

  • Roadway design (including asphalt and concrete pavement rehabilitation and reconstruction, curbs, ADA sidewalks and curb ramps, streetscapes, storm sewers and ditches, culverts, headwalls, and multi-use trails)

  • Preparation of supplemental studies and applicable reports including access management, stormwater, and design exceptions

  • Complete design of ODOT and ODOT Local Project Agency (LPA) projects

  • Sanitary sewer extensions

  • Site development

  • Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) plans

  • Categorical Exclusion (CE) environmental document preparation

  • Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and United States Army Corp of Engineers (USACE) permit applications and coordination

STORMWATER MANAGEMENT
 

Below are examples of stormwater management services offered by AEG

 

  • Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP) preparation and inspections for full compliance with ODOT Supplemental Specification 832

  • Post construction Best Management Practice (BMP) design and inspection (includes above and below ground detention, vegetated bio-swales and bio-filters, bio-retention cells, rain gardens, catch basin filters, manufactured water quality structures, and pervious pavements)

  • Private pond design

  • Erosion protection and stability design

CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING

 

Below are examples of construction engineering services offered by AEG

 

  • Contractor services include SWPPP (ODOT SS-832) preparation and weekly/event inspections, MOT plan preparation, ADA compliance  consultation, quantity take-offs, and miscellaneous design services

  • Temporary and full-time ODOT prequalified Construction Engineer Level 2 services on ODOT traditional and LPA construction projects

  • Peer and constructability plan and document review

  • Bid document preparation and project bidding

  • Preparation of contractor pay applications (estimates) on public projects

MUNICIPAL ENGINEERING
 

Below are examples of municipal engineering services offered by AEG.

 

  • Completion of funding and grant applications

  • Utility coordination (experienced in working with gas. electric, and telecommunication companies in adequately finding locations for relocated utilities on public improvement projects) and ODOT Utility Note preparation

  • Project management and review on specific municipal projects or general consulting for long-term planning specifically for projects utilizing ODOT or Federal funds

  • Serve as the municipal engineer for cities and villages

  • Prepare plans and specifications for annual paving and roadway maintenance projects and programs
